Where are all of my Pumpkin Loving Basic B’s!?!?!?! If being basic is wrong, then I don’t want to be right. Please don’t deny me my pretty pumpkin patch pictures, u-pick, corn mazes, and fall festivals this season haha. I have rounded up a list with lots of cute options for you! Get out there before the season is over!


Some of these are u-pick and some are just places you can go to pick out a pumpkin and get cute photo ops. The choice is yours 🙂

Big Red Orchard (Washington)

You may have seen that the orchard was permanently closed, but guess what!?! Someone bought it! It has opened up again under new ownership, and it looks pretty awesome. I personally want to try the donut hole nachos!

Ankley Family Farm (Imlay City)

The farm stand will be open through Oct 29! (At time of posting, we haven’t had a frost! So u-pick flowers and veggies are still going too.) Make sure you grab an ice cream sandwich. They are AMAZING! Virginia (Mrs. Ankley) does catering, and her cookies are phenominal! The farm is also a dairy farm…so these ice cream sandwiches are just out of this world!

Meckley’s Flavor Fruit Farm (Cement City)

Just south of Jackson. Go for the photos in the Pumpkin House!

Corn Maze, U-Pick Pumpkins, Wagon Rides, Kiddie Farm, Animal Exhibit, Pony Rides, Hot Donuts, Hard Ciders, Craft Beer, Cider Slush, Food Trucks, Live Music, Yard Games…need I say more?!?

It’s also an apple orchard, bakery, brewery, and cidery! 

They have some amazing apple cider creations and pumpkin drinks/creations as well!

No U-Pick here, but they do have lots of fall decor for sale! (Pumpkins, mums, corn stalks, and straw)

Regular Market Hours: Thursdays from 5pm – 7pm & Sundays from 3pm – 5pm.

This would be a great spot to check out if you’re interested in purchasing meat from a local farmer too.

Ground conditions are a little muddy with the overnight rain, so think about wearing boots if you plan to go in the fields.
