Pedal Boat Pub (Lake Orion)

All tours start and end at Rio on Main Southwest Cantina!

25 foot Cycleboat Bar for 16 guests with 10 pedal stations facing each other around a beautiful mahogany bar.

A trough-style cooler runs through the middle of the bar allowing riders to easily access their own cold food and beverages.

It has large cushiony seats and soft pedals, the riding experience is comparable to being on a beach cruiser. They are the first Cycleboat Bar in Oakland County!

Pricing is for up to 16 passengers, and they suggest having at least 6.

Monday-Thursday Pricing

Full Boat: $450.00

Friday-Sunday Pricing

Full Boat: $530.00

Each tour is an hour and a half long. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early. The Pedal Boat Pub Party Bus will pick you up a few minutes prior to departure time. You are welcome to schedule more then one time slot! We can also provide all day events upon requests. 

Another Bonus: There is a portable toilet for emergencies. It gets used on most rides and cleaned between every ride. 

Bring your favorite snacks, drinks, a source or music (optional), sunscreen, sunglasses and optional bathing suit. We do have the ability to stop and jump in the water on a hot day to cool off!

Cycle Boat: Minimum 6, Maximum 16

Big Kahuna: Maximum 18

NO EXCEPTIONS!

Anyone 5 years of age and above are welcome, however anyone 12 and under must wear a life jacket during the entrie tour. We provide 2 Child sized life jackets.

We suggest arriving 15 minutes early. Tours leave at the exact time of the tour start time you sign up for. The marina is city owned and they charge $15 per car for parking. Payment can not be paid until 30 minutes before your tour start time.

Detroit Cycle Boat is a private charter for hire! You can legally BRING THE BAR! Yes you read that right! Beer, Wine and Liquor are allowed!!!  You are allowed to legally bring the bar!  No kegs 🙂

There are open paddles that anyone can sign up for, and there are guided paddles too!

They provide the kayaks and all of the equipment!

From Their Site:

Diamond Jack River Tours (Detroit)

These are one hour narrated Detroit River cruises open to the public. (You can also book private tours and field trips!)

Admission is purchased as you board the boat. We do not take reservations. We accept cash and all major credit cards. Please note that credit card processing is dependent on our having access to a wireless network.

Adult tickets: $25 per person
Seniors 60+: $20 per person
Children 6 to 12: $15 per person
Children 5 and under: $5 per person

Boarding is on a first come first served basis and begins 20-30 minutes prior to departure. We suggest arriving at least 30 minutes prior to departure time to take a place in the boarding line.

Schedule:
May 4-26 — Saturdays & Sundays only
May 30 – June 2 — No Tours During Grand Prix
June 6 – September 1 — tours run Thursday – Sunday
September 7-29 — Saturday & Sunday only

Parking:
The closest public parking located is at Cullen Plaza.
There are also paid parking options at Beaubien Place Garage and the Port Atwater Garage.
