Horse Drawn Carriage Rides in Metro Detroit

horse and carriage rides metamora

Who doesn’t want to go on a horse-drawn carriage ride at Christmastime?!?!

There are three great options in Metro Detroit for you to take advantage of!

Downtown Detroit/Woodward Avenue Through the Downtown Detroit Partnership

$10/person & $40 for the whole carriage/a group (Credit or Debit Card Only)

First Come First Serve

Fridays & Saturdays from 6 – 11pm

“Experience the magic of Downtown Detroit from inside an enchanted horse-drawn carriage. Carriage rides take passengers on a journey through the bustling city. With the dramatic backdrop of the city skyline and Detroit’s Christmas Tree, these charming tours are a wonderful way to embrace the holiday cheer in Downtown Detroit.”

While you’re downtown, make sure you check out the Cadillac Square Lodge, Tree & Ice Rink, and Christmas Pop-Up Bars!

First Come First Serve

The city of Metamora does this every year for two weekends in December!

It’s always a Friday & Saturday.

This year the dates are 12/9-12/10 & 12-16-12/17 from 6 – 8pm.

So you can still take advantage!

I went on Friday, 12/9. We only had to wait 30 mins for a table at White Horse Inn. Plus I love grabbing a glass of wine and shopping at Metamora General while I wait.
