We all love flower fields & u-pick! Some flower farms, vineyards, and orchards are taking it to the next level with a whole new experience!


Indigo Lavender Farms (Imlay City)

Brunch on the Farm – Sundays from 7/16 – 9/24; 11am-2pm

The Rustic Bluebird Carryout & Catering

Admission to the Farm, Summer Greens Salad, Mixed Fruit, Fresh Baked Muffin, Lavender Honey Lemonade, Water, and a Sandwich..

Choose from the following Sandwich served on a Croissant:

Chicken Salad – Chicken Salad, Lettuce, Tomato, & Mayo
Rustic Club – Ham, Turkey, Bacon, Swiss, Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, & Mayo
Avocado & Sprouts – Mashed Avocado, Lettuce, Cucumber, Tomato, Sprouts & Honey Drizzle

You can also add on option to include a Lavender U-Pick bundle!

They also have a Lavender Festival, Yoga in the Lavender Fields, and lots of other fun events!

Romeo Lavender Farm (Bruce Twp)

Dinner on the Lavender Farm!

Starts June 15th and goes through the season.

Dinner available Thurs-Sunday @7pm

“Imagine spending an unforgettable evening surrounded by acres of beautiful lavender, sunflowers, and wildflowers. The aroma of lavender fills the air. Private Chef Darren Stowell from Detroit Grille House on-site preparing a gourmet meal.”

You bring a blanket, pillows, lawn chairs, small table, favorite beverage* (consumption of alcohol is prohibited).

Access to entire lavender farm’s 17 acres for activities like nature walks, u-pick, and photo ops!

Gratuity is not included in the prices for the three packages offered below. The different options range in price from $40-$130/person

Grandpa Tiny’s Farm (Frankenmuth)

Situated within the charming old orchard, the table is set with crisp white cloths and colorful wild flowers. A private sunflower field surrounds you and fellow dinner guests as you enjoy a specialty farm-to-table meal prepared by Chef Phil and his Team from the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. 

 This expertly crafted dinner includes: Artesian Rolls with whipped peach honey butter, Candied Bacon Burnt End Salad with grilled romaine, tangy blue cheese, tomatoes, pickled red onions and smoked nuts, Blueberry Chipotle Ribs & Smoked Chicken Quarter, Elote Corn & Pickled Farm Vegetable, Tart Lemon Cake w/ Michigan Blueberry Compote & a choice of a glass of red or white wine upon seating as well as with dinner.

Dinner location is a fair walk from the entrance gate to the farm. Surfaces encountered are gravel and grass. Shade will be provided with table umbrellas. In case of rain, dinners will be located in the wedding barn or another covered area at the farm. Please dress for the weather.

Make sure that you schedule enough time for exploring the sunflower fields, craft vendors and other events. Your dinner ticket includes same day access to the Frankenmuth Flower Festival happening on the property as well as picking your very own sunflower to take home with you. We are excited for you to join us for another year of a favorite event at the farm!

Join us for an executive local experience! Enjoy a 4-course meal and wine tasting prepared by Executive Chef Megan Vilminot from the local gem, The Deck Down Under. Dinner courses will be paired with live music under the lights and we will Finish the evening with an executive orchard wagon ride. An evening to remember! Dinner will commence at 6pm, and the wagon ride and mingling with end at approximately 9pm.


Barefoot Blossom Farm (Ortonville)

BRAND NEW IN 2021!!! They have all kinds of flowers here including dahlias!

They have tons of super fun events here (like Girls’ Night Out with wine and food and flowers)!

Tea for Two & Breakfast, Brew, and Blooms are some of their other events…along with U-Pick.

Youngblood Vineyard (Ray)

They always have some amazing events here!

For example, they do Wine Makers Dinners throughout the season. The next one is Friday, 5/26, but it is sold out.

However, just today, they announced that tickets will be going live soon for their 3rd Annual Lobster Boil in the Vineyard Event with Natasha Vitti (former Executive Chef at The Whitney and the owner of Bring the Chef Home on July 14th!

Seating for this event is limited to 64 guests, and it will sell out!

Westview Orchard (Romeo)

They haven’t listed any dinner events yet for this summer, but they usually always have a few! Keep an eye on their website and social media!

They do have events posts for Dueling Pianos where you can purchase small bite and wine. This event is indoors though in their wine loft.

In July & August, they have Sunflower Fields, and they do Goat Yoga here too!

I know they are planning some dinner on the farm events for 2023! They just haven’t announced them yet!


Cherry Point Farm & Market (Shelby, MI)

This one is not in the Metro Detroit area, but it’s worth a special trip!

Cherry Point is the location of the Lavender Labyrinth! 

They do a super cool fish boil !

2023 Dates:

June 17,  June 23, & June 28, & then every Wednesday, Friday & Saturday through Labor Day Weekend!

All boils begin at 6 pm.

Reservations are required by phone. Please call 231-861-2029 and leave a message with your callback number.

Your reservation is not confirmed until you have received a return call from us.

Price TBD (Approximately $28)

Kids $1 per year of age up to age 11

If you have a group of 45-80 and would like to schedule a private boil, please call the number above.

They also have Tuesday Tea and Lunch on the farm too!
