Metro Detroit Wine Bars

Wine & Charcuterie Baby! There is a special surprise at the end of the post just for you too! πŸ˜‰

Vino & Vibes (Utica)

Brand New in Downtown Utica! I love the vibe of this place. You will see what I mean when you go. High ceilings and exposed brick. It is honestly just the cutest place with selection of foreign wines (that won’t leave you with a wine headache the next day).

Cellar 59 (Macomb)

Located in the mall at Partridge Creek. When the weather gets warm and sunny and they open up the walls…that is my favorite πŸ™‚

Fieldstone Winery & Hard Cider (Rochester)

The wine and hard cider are both delicious. I recommend trying the Mimosa Cider and the Blood Orange Cider if you go! They also do lots of events like Wine & Girl Scout Cookie Pairings and Bundt Cake and Wine Pairings πŸ™‚

Unwined Winery (Shelby)

I have not been here yet, but I have heard wonderful things about both the food and the wine!

Mannina’s Wine House (St. Clair)

Go for a boozy brunch or later in the day for lunch and dinner too! I love that they have meals here and not just small plates.

Keep an eye out for their wine bingo nights too!

St. Julian (Troy)

Some fun upcoming events and specials (per their Instagram account):

Spirits 101 on Wednesday (3/17) @ 6pm | Come learn about gin cocktails! Call to reserve a spot. $10 per person.
March Madness the week of March 21-27 | Taste through a bracket of wines to determine our winningest wine. $15 per person.
Opening Day: Cider & Sausage on Thursday, April 1 @ 5-8pm | Cider large pour of choice, a sausage of choice, and a bag of chips. $12 per person.

Weekends are peak time, so they recommend calling ahead (or making a reservation).

Cellar 104 (Mt. Clemens)

They do not have an Instagram account, and I do not have any pictures to share. They just opened up in Mt. Clemens.

Vertical (Detroit)

Reopening on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021 at 5:00pm!!!

They have been on my list for a few years now, and I still haven’t gone. Embarassing for me, I know lol. I hope to go soon though now that restrictions seem to be lifting more and more!

Victoria’s Wine & Dine (Oxford)

Paris style bistro in historic downtown Oxford. Where are my Emily in Paris fans!?!?!

Fenton Winery & Brewery (Fenton)

You get a view of the brewery and winery systems. They also have pizza, charcuterie, baked sandwiches and more! (Gluten free options available as well.) When the weather is nice, this would be the perfect place to relax outside (the property is over an acre with lots of picnic tables and outdoor seating options)!

The Agitated Grape Bar & Bistro (Davison)

Prost Wine Bar (Frankenmuth)

Ok, I know it’s a drive, but I REALLY want to go!!!

Honorable Mentions:

Not EXACTLY wine bars, but you can still sit down and have a bottle and a board and a great experience!

Bar Verona (Washington Twp)

They have a new “Board & Bottle” special running on Tuesdays now!

Cucina Lab Torino (Troy)

On Thursdays, they have do Italian Aperitivo…a glass of wine and finger food specials for $35! (In my opinion, aperitivo is a similar concept to Spanish tapas.)

Blake’s Tasting Room (Armada)

Go for the frose and charcuterie in the summer. You will NOT be disappointed. Plus, it’s almost PATIO SEASON BABY!
