I realize that everyone has varying levels of comfort with dining out right now.
The fact of the matter is that our local businesses need our support now more than ever before.
Also, with everything shut down, there isn’t much to do besides well…eat…haha.
The beautiful thing about heated patio and tents is that there is no food and beverage minimum (unlike with most igloo dining)!
If you are looking specifically for igloos, check out this post here.
Please also remember to be patient and kind (and generous with your tips) because this is a difficult and stressful time for all.
If tents and patios and igloos aren’t for you, then I hope you will support your favorite establishments by ordering carryout!
I did my best to research who is truly a heated patio and who would be considered more of a tent, so please be patient with me there too! I did not go to each place personally because I don’t have that much time or money haha.
Some places require reservations and others are first come first serve.
Heated Patios
Testa Barra (Macomb) – Closed as of 12/29/20. They could use our support with Carry Out though!
Heated patio (overhead heaters and floorboard heaters)! The heat is crankin, so no blankets needed!

Keep an eye on their social media. They have special events often (including a Sunday champagne brunch)! They also have some unique Christmas cocktails like the Scrooge, By the Open Fire, Mistletoe Mule, Santa Baby, Bumble All the Way, and Naughty & Spice!
I stopped by to take a peek, and the decorations are so cute! I can’t wait to sip on a cocktail and enjoy the patio here.

Went to Filippa’s in Shelby Twp., last week after making a reservation for their patio and was informed that they are now close. You may want to update your website.

Thank you for the heads up! I try to keep the list as up to date as possible, but things have been changing very quickly (with places either opening up or shutting back down again).
I went to Crews Inn, which is literally right next door to Bumper’s Landing. They had the bar open, with mostly no roof but lots of heaters. The wait at Bumper’s was over 30 minutes when we got there at 3:15pm today (Sunday).
