Dog Dayze on the Farm (Armada)

Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill

You need a ticket (see below).

Join us with your furry friends on the farm for one day only!
 
Bring your dog and enjoy a 1 mile walking trail throughout the orchard.
 
After you walk, join us in Orchard Square Tent for food, drinks, music, a doggy kissing booth, prizes and more! Contests include a dog costume contest and a dog/owner look-a-like contest
 
Tickets are per person to access the walking trail. Each ticket includes 1 pup cup, access to the orchard walking trail, and random prizes & giveaways.
 
Early bird tickets are available for $5.95 through April 14th and for $7.95 after April 14th. Each person will need a ticket to access the walking trail.
 
All pets must have up to date vaccine records, be well-behaved and leashed at all times (6ft or shorter leash).

Canine to Five Pack Walk (Detroit)

Happens once per month!

Valade Park (2670 Atwater)

Join us once a month for a guided walk with your pup along the Detroit Riverfront. Pack walks will start and end at Valade Park and include a ten minute break at the halfway point.
 
You do not have to be a Canine To Five client to join us, this event is free and open to all leash friendly pups! Remember to bring your dog’s leash, fresh water, and poop bags. Parking is free in the lot at the corner of Chene and Guion.
 

 

Frankenmuth Dog Bowl

Saturday, 5/27 – Sunday 5/28; 8am-10pm

River Place Shops

The world’s largest Olympic-style festival for dogs returns with dock and disc dog competitions, sheep herding demonstrations, balloon glows and flights, wiener dog races, a pet costume parade and so much more!
 
The FREE two-day family event takes place Memorial Day weekend – May 27 and 28, 2023 – and is the same weekend as Balloons over Bavarian Inn (Check Out My Hot Air Balloon Festivals Post), with daily competitions and nightly balloon glow events in the grassy field near River Place Shops. Dogs are welcome but please note – all dogs must be on leashes!
 
Shop our pet-themed vendor marketplace, sign your dog up for doggie races or lure coursing competitions and explore more than 40 shops and attractions located at River Place Shops.

All events take place at River Place Shops, 925 S. Main St. Parking is free and located around the Bavarian-styled shopping complex and along Weiss Street. With activities spread out on over 25 acres of Bavarian Inn property, there will be plenty of space for guests and canines to enjoy themselves safely.

 

Bark on Biddle (Wyandotte)

Friday, 6/2 – Sunday, 6/4/23

Location: The parking lot on the riverfront (just off Oak Street, east of Biddle Ave.) and a grass section of Bishop Park

The Details:

Shop, Drink & Play with your dog at Bark on Biddle in Downtown Wyandotte, June 2-4, 2023. This three-day dog event will provide hours of entertainment for families and their dog!
 
 There will be a variety of pet related vendors, doggy fashions, homemade dog treats, unique dog toys and samples of dog food and treats.
Dogs can compete in the ULTIMATE AIR DOGS dock jumping competition. If you have a dog that loves to run, jump and swim this is definitely the right sport for you. Even if you don’t have a jumping dog, this is a show you are not going to want to miss! Pre-registration is recommended, not required, for the Ultimate Air Dog competition. The Disc Dogs of Michigan show will feature an entourage of dogs that do high-flying, Frisbee snatching, record setting, amazing tricks and a whole lot of fun. They will offer three shows daily.
 
Many dogs love the thrill of the chase! Lucky Dogs Lure Coursing will be on-site all weekend. The object to the game is to catch the lure! Bring your pup to join in on the fun. Open during event hours. *additional fee
 
It’s not every day you can enjoy a great eats and listen to live music with hundreds of dogs! The Beer Garden will be open daily, where you’ll be able to listen to live music, grab a bite to eat from the Food Trucks or enjoy a Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktail.
 
All well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend the event, but must be on a 6’ leash. Please, no retractable leashes. If any dog shows signs of aggression, they will be asked to leave. Please remember to pick up after your pet. There will be dog drinking stations around the venue. No outside coolers or chairs will be permitted.
 
There is as $5 admission fee at the gate, kids 12 & under are free. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Detroit Dog Rescue.

Join us for a relaxing yoga session guaranteed to relieve stress and generate lots of smiles! This class is suitable for all fitness levels and will be led by certified yoga instructor Courtney Miller from Ohana Fitness & Wellness.
 
The Humane Society of Macomb will supply the puppies so please leave yours at home. All proceeds from this event will benefit the HS of Macomb.
 
The pups will likely wander from one mat to the next, climb on you to assist in your form, and play with their puppy friends so come prepared to laugh and receive puppy kisses!

We are excited to announce that Bark & Brew will once again be partnering with Rochester Mills Beer Company in Downtown Rochester!
 
Bark & Brew is an outdoor, family-friendly event! Support Leader Dog while you enjoy a famous Rochester Mills brew, live music, kids’ play area with inflatables, carnival games, rock wall. Meet & greet Future Leader Dogs, Leader Dogs in training and working Leader Dogs. Boxer Yoga & Wine (Ray)

Youngbloo Vineyard; 4:45pm-7pm

Great Lakes Boxer Rescue has partnered with Youngblood Vineyard to have the first ever BOXER YOGA! This awesome event will allow you to bring your boxer, meet other boxers and boxer lovers, AND get to taste some amazing wine! Come hang out with the Great Lakes Boxer Rescue peeps and enjoy a fun day of yoga, wine, raffles, and of course, BOXERS!
 
Each ticket includes a one-hour session of yoga + one glass of wine to be enjoyed after class. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to GLBR to help continue our efforts to save boxers in need. Anyone under the age of 21 will be able to choose a pop or juice. Additional wine may be purchased by the glass. Please bring your own yoga mat or beach towel (an old bath or beach towel work best since they can be washed).
 
This is an outdoor class taught by a certified Yoga Instructor. We are family friendly, but ask that all kids have their own tickets and be supervised by their own parent/guardian at all times. This is a farm and we have occasional bugs, unpredictable weather and animals that may accidentally scratch or nibble. All dogs attending must be vaccinated, healthy, and dog/people friendly. All ticket holders agree to release Youngblood Vineyard and Great Lakes Boxer Rescue of all liability in the event of accidental injury during Boxer Yoga. Must be 21 years or older to purchase and consume alcohol. Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of inclement weather, tickets will be transferred to a new date and time.

Farmington Fido Fest brought to you by LaFontaine Subaru will be taking place July 21 & 22 in Riley Park during the Farmington Founders Festival! There will be hours of entertainment, including the Ultimate Air Dogs and K9 Star Productions Variety Show! There will be a vendor village showcasing dog wearables, homemade dog treats, unique dog toys, dog dishes and samples of dog food and treats and so much more.
 
FARMINGTON FIDO FEST HOURS

Canterbury Village Dog Fest (Lake Orion)

Saturday, 8/12 – Sunday 8/13; 10am-5pm

Bring your furry friend and head to Canterbury Village for a tail waggin good time! Kids can have fun looking for paw prints around the village, which they can turn in for candy and other small prizes!

We’ll also have multiple dog rescue organizations on site and they’ll be accepting donations for their great causes!
